Though his major interest remains Hindi cinema (also called Bollywood), he
has grown in popularity and is now well-known all over India. Akshaye is the
son of Bollywood producer and actor Vinod Khanna.
Akshaye made his debut in his father's production of Himalay Putra. In his
film career, Akshaye Khanna is known for his heroic roles and stunts. Khanna
found success in Subhash Ghai's Taal (1999), co-starring Aishwarya Rai and
Anil Kapoor as well as in Dil Chahta Hai (2001).
His brother Rahul Khanna recently joined the film industry. |
