Al Santos Biography

The Long Island, N.Y. native began his career appearing in commercials, and moved to Manhattan at age 16 to pursue a professional modeling career. Through his contract with Ford Modeling Agency, he had the opportunity to travel to Italy, France, Germany, England and Spain, working with top fashion names such as Versace, Armani, Valentino, Levi's and Abercrombie & Fitch.

He then moved to Manhattan where he attended Hunter College on the pre-med track. Restless with modeling, he began to take his acting career more seriously, studying privately with an acting coach. The commitment paid off, and soon after he landed the role on Grosse Pointe.

One of five children, Santos has three brothers who are also acting and modeling. When he's not busy working, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends, snowboarding, hanging out at the beach and playing with his two dogs, a Rottweiler and a black Labrador Retriever.
