Alison initially started modeling with her twin sister Melanie who died tragically last year from alcohol poisoning. Understandably, Alison says that losing her sister was the worst thing that could ever happen to her. After much introspection, Alison decided to forge ahead with her modeling career, knowing Melanie would have wanted it that way.
