Having grown up in Philadelphia, PA under the supervision of Bob Dylan, Patti Smith and Elvis Costello, Bree Sharp armed herself with an acoustic guitar and sung three-minute folk-ditties at the local coffee shop scene. With lyrical content dealing with having a minor David Duchovny obsession among other things, Sharp settled in Manhattan after graduating from New York University and issued her debut "A Cheap and Evil Girl" in 1999. Sharp issued her second album, More B.S. in July 2002. ~ Mike DaRonco, All Music Guide
