In 2002, the band broke up over a legal dispute between the group. Chris has
since gone solo, and is currently developing his own brand of music for his
solo disc to be released sometime in 2005. "The Biggest Fan", co-starring
Chris, will be released on homevideo and DVD in May of 2005 (the soundtrack
featuring numerous reworked Dream Street tracks was released in 2002).
Chris has also been a big seller on Radio Disney via his duet hits with girl
group Play (a remake of "I'm Gonna Make You Love Me") and solo artist Nikki
Cleary (remake of the Grease track "You're the One that I Want"). |
