David Chokachi was born David Al-Chokhachy on January 16, 1968 in Plymouth,
Massachusetts. He graduated from Bates College in Lewiston, Maine in 1990.
After graduation he went on to a career in Hollywood, most notably as a star
on Baywatch and Witchblade. In 1997, he was chosen by People magazine as one
of the "50 Most Beautiful People in the World".
Standing at 5'11" with blue eyes and the very aura of someone who loves the
beach, David Chokachi joined the cast of the internationally-syndicated hit
series "Baywatch" at the start of the 1995 season as Cody Madison, an
Olympic hopeful also working at a lifeguard.

A political science major at Bates College, Chokachi worked as an aide to
Massachusetts representative Gerry Studds for a year before moving back to
Boston to take acting lessons and model. He then moved to Los Angeles, where
he did numerous TV commercials before landing the role on "Baywatch". He
also has appeared in bit roles in the feature films "Blown Away" and "With
Honors" (both 1994). |
