Elize Du Toit (born September 5, 1981) is a British actress who was born in
South Africa and educated at the prestigious Wellington College. Whilst
studing for a history degree at Edinburgh University she took part in the
Hollyoaks "On the Pull" auditions, and subsequently beat 10,000 other
hopefuls for a part in the show.
She was cast as the character Izzy Cornwell (later to become Izzy Davis) -
an upper class, gorgeous blond who studied at the local college.

After leaving Hollyoaks in 2004 to pursue her film career, she was cast in
several new roles. These include: a part in the UPN pilot for a new drama
series called Triangle, alongside Ivan Sergei; A film role with ex-Hollyoaks
star Jeremy Edwards and Holly Davidson entitled "Flirting with Flamenco"; A
guest role in the BBC drama series Dalziel and Pascoe; and most impressively,
the lead in the new Irvine Welsh-written film, Ecstasy. |
