Evan brings a diverse array of talents to TLC's WHILE YOU WERE OUT as the
host of the hit home design series currently in it’s third season. In
addition to his music career and roles on screens large and small, Evan
studied architecture at Tulane University and has worked as both a draftsman
and as a graphic designer for several firms. He also recently started his
own business (Renovolution) renovating single-family homes, and has a strong
interest and background in carpentry. Evan's on-camera presence, combined
with his education and real-life experiences, make him a perfect fit to host
WHILE YOU WERE OUT.

One year later, Jennifer co-starred with Robin Williams in the box-office E
van first made entertainment news however, with his portrayal the central
character “Jerry O'Keefe” in MTV's first made-for-television movie 2GE+HER,
for which he also recorded lead vocals on the soundtrack and follow up album
(the sum total of which has amounted to platinum sales worldwide). He also
co-wrote one of the film's songs, “You're My Baby Girl” (featured on the
first Album). 2GE+HER's music videos "U+ME= US" and "The Hardest Part of
Breaking Up (is getting back your stuff)" sat amongst the top 10 most
requested videos on MTV for over a year. Evan continued his MTV/2GE+HER
tenure reprising his lead role as “Jerry” in a weekly television series
based on the film.
A n off-shoot of the show’s popularity led to 2GE+HER claiming the much
coveted position as opening band for the Britney Spears“Oops I Did It Again”
Summer Tour 2000. Evan has gone on to produce his first self-titled solo
album in honor of his friend and former cast-mate Michael Cuccione and The
Michael Cuccione Foundation, and is currently in the process of finishing a
major release album with his New York based band.
Prior to 2GE+HER, Evan joined the world tour of the chart-topping Russian
Pop-Rock Group Na-Na, (singing lead and playing guitar) traveling
extensively throughout Russia performing to sold out arenas.
Film credits include Austin Powers 3 in Goldmember, as “Young Number 2” ~ a
younger version of the character originated by Robert Wagner. He made his
feature film debut in Shaft Returns, starring Samuel L. Jackson.
Television credits include guest-starring roles on the TV series' D.A.G. and
JAG. Evan also played the recurring role of “Steve” on the CBS Daytime Drama
Guiding Light, as well as a three year stint doing voices on the popular
animated comedy Daria. Evan has also hosted MTV's top rated show Total
Request Live (TRL) several times and is a staple guest of several ongoing
VH1 shows.
Evan has been featured in countless major magazines including: Rolling
Stone, Billboard, US, Cosmo Girl, Teen People, Teen Vogue, Entertainment
Weekly, Entertainment Teen, DO! Magazine, TV Guide, and has been featured on
Entertainment Tonight, CNN, andThe Early Show With Bryant Gumble.
Evan is most proud however to be actively involved in supporting several
charities including: the Susan G. Komen Foundation, The Michael Cuccione
Foundation, Rebuilding Together, Bras For a Cause, and he responded to the
recent Tsunami Disaster with a $10,000.00 donation to the Unicef: Tsunami
Disaster Relief Fund. |
