Fredro Starr (born January 1, 1970), alias Fredro Scruggs or Never, is a
member of hardcore rap group ONYX.
The popular rapper made his acting debut in Forest Whitaker's award-winning
HBO drama "Strapped," for which Starr earned a Cable ACE nomination as Best
Supporting Actor. His feature film credits include "Sunset Park," "The
Addiction" and "Light It Up." He also starred in Save The Last Dance and
appeared on the soundtrack.

On television, Starr was featured in a recurring role on "Moesha," starring
R&B singer Brandy, in which he appeared as the title character's fiancé. He
has also guest-starred on "NYPD Blue", "Law & Order" and "Promised Land."
Fredro Starr also serves as co-host of Dance 360, Paramount Domestic
Television's daily, half-hour urban dance competition show, which first
aired on August 30, 2004. |
