James Lafferty is an American actor and athlete. He plays on the WB’s teen
television show One Tree Hill. He portrays Nathan Scott, the star basketball
player on his varsity basketball team who is also a newly wed to Haley James
Scott (costar Bethany Joy Lenz). He was born July 25, 1985 in Hemet,
California. He played basketball all through his high school years and was
named MVP of his team. He started acting with his girl friend Nour Gheita
and doing extra work at age seven after his mom’s friend told her about her
daughters doing it. Ever since, he has been in several TV shows and films.
He has recently been romantically linked to Canadian soccer star, Megan
Kunder.
