Kristin Landen Davis (born February 24, 1965) is an American actress who was born in Boulder, Colorado and grew up in Columbia, South Carolina, where she attended A.C. Flora High School. She is perhaps best known for her role on the HBO program Sex and the City, on which she played the character of Charlotte York. She is also the host of the VH1 show 200 Greatest Pop Culture Icons.
Davis has also had roles in movies and other television series. Her characterization of Charlotte on Sex and the City, however, sent her into the spotlight in the United States and abroad.

In 2005 Davis was filming a television pilot entitled Soccer Moms in which she and Gina Torres star as two suburban mothers who moonlight as private detectives. |
