Her complete name is Martina Klein Korin. She was born on the 7th of
December 1976 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. In 1988, at the age of 12 she
moved with her parents and brother Tommy to Barcelona (Spain) although she
goes back to visit her family and friends every three years and keeps
contact via internet.
In 1991, at the age of 15 she began in the fashion world by chance, she went
to all her castings with her mum Adriana who is an architect like her father.

In 1993, when she was 18 she finished her secondary studies successfully and
started to spend more time going to castings. She started to study History
at University but gave up.
Her first jobs where advertising campaigns for brands like: Renault,
Bollicao, Kodak, Coca Cola, Mercedes Benz, Lee Cooper, Kas, Trident, Levi's,
Yves Rocher, El Corte Ingles, Wella, Don Algodon and Mango. Now she spends
most of the time traveling to the most prestigious catwalks world wide, like
London, New York, Milan and Paris.
She has worked for many prestigious international fashion designers like:
Alexander McQueen, Cerruti, Lolita Lempicka, Comme des Garçons, Ferrety,
Castelbajac, Dirk Bikkembergs, Angelo Tarlazzi, Balmain, Saskia Van
Drimmelen, Yuki Tori, Torrente, Fatima Lopez, Valentin Yudashkin and
Montana.
As well as doing many fashion shows in Spain (l'Oreal, Cibeles and Salo
Gaudi) for Spanish designers like: David Valls, Toni Miró, Javier
Larrainzar, Manuel Fernandez, Victorio Lucchino, Lydia Delgado, Roberto
Verino, Guillermina Baeza Joaquim Verdu, TCN and Josep Font.
More recently she has done adverts for brands like: Guess?, l'Oreal, Risk,
Cebado, Caroche, Triumph, Zoco, Kleymac, Aninoto, Llongueras, Pronovias,
Mango, Margon and Anti-Flirt.
Many photographers have worked with her like J.M. Ferrater, Gilles Bensimon,
Joan Lluis Arruga, Artur Lleo, Tierney Gearon, Miquel Arnal, Manuel
Outumuro, Xavier Lanau, Jaume de Laiguana, Juan Aldabaldetrecu and Peter
Lindberg.
She also appeared in the video clip "Si tu no vuelves" for Miguel Bose, and
plenty of well known magazines have worked with her, like Cosmopolitan,
Elle, Marie Claire, Woman, Mujer21 GQ, Max, Telva, Man or Ragazza.
During the year 1999 (at the age of 23) she put her modelling career to one
side for a short period to study writting skills, contemporary dance, art
and drama.
On July 19th 2000 Martina started working as a contributor in the tv program
"Les 1000 i una" for the catalan local channel (TV3). She has also been
interviewed in "Lo + plus" (canal +) and "La cosa nostra" (TV3) and "Maldita
la hora" (A3).
In the year 2000 she was chosen Model of the year at Cibeles Fashion Show
(Madrid). In 2001 she was chosen Woman of the year by GQ magazine. During
February 2001 she was chosen 'Most attractive woman' by readers of 'Hola'
magazine.
Martina speaks Spanish, Catalan, English as well as French and Italian. She
enjoys writting stories and painting colorful abstract paintings |
