Mia Sara Biography

Mia Sara (born June 19, 1967 in Brooklyn Heights, New York as Mia Sarapocciello) is an Italian American actress. She is best known for playing Ferris's girlfriend Sloane in Ferris Bueller's Day Off.

She has also appeared in the miniseries Queenie, Legend as Princess Lili, as well as playing key roles for the Jean-Claude Van Damme film Timecop and the 1995 Canada-Russia coproduction Bullet to Beijing with Michael Caine.

Sara married Jason Connery (son of actor Sean Connery) in March 1996. In June of 1997 they had a son together and named him Dashiell Quinn. She recently appeared in the canceled WB television show Birds of Prey as Dr. Harleen Quinzel. Sara won the "Best Supporting Actress" Saturn award from the Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy, and Horror Films for her performance in Timecop.

Mia Sara is a graduate of St. Ann's School in Brooklyn Heights, New York. She has two Wheaten Terriers, enjoys flying, and has a private pilot's license.
