Sarah Wynter is an Australian actress, best known for her role of Kate Warner on the television drama 24
She was born on February 15, 1973, in Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia. Her grandmother, Joy Cummings, was the Lord Mayor of Newcastle; the first female Lord Mayor in Australia.

Wynter, other than her recurring role on 24, has mostly appeared in B movies, although she also appeared in The 6th Day, and had a recurring role in The Dead Zone.

She has been romantically linked with actor Emmanuel Xuereb
